Rhodes if famous for its beaches, and

Perhaps the best know beach in Rhodes is Faliraki beach, about 3 miles of soft golden sand offering every kind of beach activity you can imagine, whether you just want to lay back and tan, or play volley ball, Faliraki beach is your place, and with its gental shelving, it’s a perfect place for children.
Further down the line from Faliraki beach is Kathras bay, and it’s a perfect place to get an all over tan, because its popular with nudists due to its sandy shoreline in a steep rocky surround.
The resort of Afandou was originally built to be out of sight of the sea, to be a perfect place for hiding pirates, but now its 4 mile golden sand beach is one of the most popular in all of Rhodes and is considered by many to be Rhodes most beautiful beach. Afandou beach has been awarded the blue flag award, meaning it has been internationally recognised as clean and beautiful.
A particularly nice resort is Kremasti, and is typical of life in Rhodes. it’s a friendly costal village, where holiday makers happily mingle with locals. Kremasti, holds many supprises such as the gleaming white tower of the parish church and the local library, where locals play backgammon and drink glasses of coffee. Kremasti beach is a rare treat on a clear day, when you can see all the way to turkey.
